Leisure Ride, Wednesday 4th August

YOU CAN DO THIS

This ride leaves
Cholesbury Cricket Pavilion
at 9:30am

See the Cotswolds from the Chilterns!
Combe Hill is the place for that and bring your own mid-morning snack to have there.
Bring a telescope or binoculars as well because the cotswolds are 53 miles away.

Then we ride to Great Missenden church for a picnic lunch or eat at a nearby café.
Cholesbury is the final stop for this 20-mile Leisure Ride (shorter rides possible)

Aunt Sally (Easy Pace) Ride, Wednesday 11th August

 YOUR AUNT SALLY?........

get on yer bike and find out!

Join the Easy Pace ride
to Stratford-upon-Avon;
meet 9:00am at
Princes Risborough Station
Hopefully ~ buy a group return ticket at £11.15 per person instead of a full price of £19.60
(price with card £12.95.)
We depart at 9:36am to Banbury and do a quick circuit of the Fine Lady. After picnic elevenses,
we arrive at Shipton-on-Stour and the Black Horse for lunch and to find out about Aunt Sally.
This is a hilly route, 35 miles, but with fine views from the Cotswold Hills, with their mellow stone
villages. Let's hope we have time to climb up to Hidcote NT café and enjoy ice creams as we
did two years ago! We reach the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon along the Stratford Greenway old
train line for tea and a quick look round, and then catch the 5:40pm train, arriving PR at 7:10pm

High Summer in the Cotswolds, Wednesday 18th August

Come and enjoy this lovely area on a Car-assisted Moderate ride with John and Sue Ingold.

Meet at 09:30am
in the free Public Car Park next to Tesco, Stow-on-the-Wold.
That is along the Fosse Way (not Sheep Street) Note: Location shown on Google is wrong!

Elevenses will be at the Broadway Tower, and Lunch will be in Bourton on the Water.
The total cycling distance will be about 50 miles.

 YOU CAN DO THIS  Rides leaves from
 Berkhamsted station at 10:30am
 (after Refreshments)
A Mix and Match Leisure Cycle Ride.

Using Berkhamsted/Tring stations, you can have an easy day with 17 miles and home for lunch,
or choose up to 25 miles including a visit to the late 19c. working watermill at Ivinghoe
and lunch at The Old Swan, Cheddington.
